this would be the second time this week a stray cat has wandered into my room howling for attention, jumped up on my bed, rummaged around in my blankets and either fallen asleep or laid down.
... it's a good thing i think there are only two stray cats in this neighborhood.

BTW, my dog curled up and nestled in your mom's suitcase when she visited awhile back-- you guys have some kind of animal magnetism. Meow!
